CB 400/4 Valve Seats

Just having a chat over a few beers and the subject of valve saver came up One says yes needed and another says not needed on a 75 400/4 as the valve seats where factory hardens .So anyone know who is right ?

All Honda's were fitted with hardened seats from the factory  ;)

and we ran them on the cheapest 2 star petrol
