JIS screws.
« on: October 06, 2019, 10:38:39 AM »
Anyone know of a source for JIS screws that hasn't been mentioned already. I am looking for an M6*90mm, just one. Had a look at Ash's recommend but there is nothing that long on there. I know it shouldn't bother me but having one cap head screw in the clutch cover just bugs me. ;D

Still available from Honda, part number 9350006090, CMS have then listed in stock for 1 euro 50 each, so any Honda dealer should be able to get one.
If it's got tits or wheels, it's hassle, if it's got both, RUN!!!

Difficult to get hold of Roy, I bought one from my local Honda emporium in the end (different size to yours but still a size I could get hold of anywhere else).

Yep I noticed stock at CMS but one screw will end up costing about £18 even more probably from 1st November (sshhh the B word). May just put up with it until the next order with CMS or The Pirate. Thats unless anyone has an M6*90mm sitting in a bag that they could be relieved of.

Just noticed "zedparts" on eBay sell a complete range of JIS pattern screws in stainless. They also sell kits for some Honda's.  https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/zedparts

My stock of JIS only goes up to 80mm but, 90mm are available in the smallest pack of 10  ;)

Or as a single >> https://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/parts/by-part-number/partnumber_93500060900A/

Thanks Trig. Have sorted it now with zedparts. Have also ordered a set of JIS screws for the GS1000 to get rid of the cap heads.
