+1 with Oddjob, defo a stringy mastic / glue type substance. Removing the adhesive is one of the jobs that Trig gives me to do 🙄🙄🙄🙄 What a lucky girl I am 😁😁😁😁

So if you have removed the Airbox rubbers to soften in wintergreen solution, what glue is best to refit them? 🤔

As its not exactly a closed system surely any effect on carburation caused by the inlet stubs not being glued in would be insignificant?
