I now know who I loved the 500 back in 1973 ,first ride on this one , taken about 18 months, [ Guests cannot view attachments ] [ Guests cannot view attachments ] and loved it.
The 69 750 I like but this I love. It will be staying.
Thanks for selling it to me Steve

The colour is the uk gold, same as I had in 73, matched it from the original
paint on the tank and side panels. not as yellow as the US gold.
I know the purists will vomit bit I have restored Craven rack panniers and top box as I had in 73, oh also had an Avon full fairing as well but won't be potting one of those on it .More photos later

Thats suberb Rich! Wish I'd have bought it myself (you beat me to it) - good inspiration for my 500 K2 rebuild in same colour (wrong for a K2 but I'm having it anyway!). Was going to have black the same as my 72 K1 but just love the gold now.

Good stuff Rich.
Can you email me some hi-res pictures please for my photo file.
I’m sure I sold the black panniers to someone on here.

Hi All
Oddjob yes panniers are on hooks on rubber tubes, Craven are now run by Dragonfly Motorcycles so srares are available so bought new locks hinges handles etc and refurbed the rest.
I never liked the brown and my Twin brother had a black one that a local Honda shop still has on the road.
I will put up more pictures later .
I'll send some on to you Steve.
Phil I'm living my youth and had to have the correct gold sorry beating you to it .

I got a set Ken and agree about the chrome (been stored now ready for the future rebuild) - chrome is miles better than my CMSL set I bought for the 750 about 5 years ago
