What is this bracket for?

Can anyone tell me what the bracket mounted below these coils is?  I can't see it on th CMSNL parts fiche and am not sure why it's there!

It’s the wiring loom connector housing bracket to support the plastic box. Some body has fitted a stud.

Thanks - I may have been looking at a different fiche. So the plastic box just holds / supports a connector?

On the f1 and f2 all the wires from the loom and the handlebar switches meet together in that box, on the k models they meet in the headlamp bowl. The f has a smaller headlamp so less space for wires.
