Where I live most of the bus lanes are singposted to say they can be used. But not all....oddly.

Most are marked so mopeds can use them but anything over 50cc isn't allowed. Unless the local authority has authorised it I suppose.

Bikers in London have been able to use bus lanes since the mid 90’s. TfL introduced the idea as a trial to reduce accidents. It proved successful and was made permanent. Hopefully the rest of the country will follow.
