CB750 K3 Fuel line routing

Hi I know this might be a stupid question but do both fuel lines drop down towards the float bowl or upwards , before joining the fuel tap ?

Straight up to tap, from memory one goes through a hole in the mounting bracket to the engine side, cant remeber what the other does
