Hello all. Have had CD175's 400/fours, one CB550K and one or 2 SuperDreams (250 and a 400). Now work on a few SOHC classics and loving every minute of it.
Good to keep these bikes going.
Also Own a Kawasaki Z500B2 1980 from new (82000 miles), a Suzuki GSF1200S K4, 2004 from almost new(63000 miles) and a little GS125 1999 (30000 miles). This little GS is my all year round nip about bike.
Pics are my modded 400/4 in 1982 just after it got wrote off my a mini coming on the wrong side of the road.
Regards
Rob B

It's possible it may need a new tank
Oh and a lot of work.
Welcome to the site, lots of info and help available on here, feel free to ask.
I do have an old 400 rear brake pedal lying around, not fantastic condition but certainly better than that one
I'll post a pic of it and if you want it I'll let you have it FOC, just pay for postage.

Thank all. The frame, stove enamelled just a few week previous was bent and the bike scrapped, motor soled to a mate and the other bit used on another 400/4 also with Comstars and sold in 1984.

Sorry, I got the impression that you were going to restore the 400 after buying it back off the insurance people.
Curious as to why you joined if you haven't currently got or are considering getting a SOHC? Not saying you're not welcome, just seems a little odd.

Thinking on it maybe the rims would look even better on a gold bike
