Yours looks the same as my k3 Dom

Dom, the top right hand lug is the culprit. The top of the lug bracket should run parallel with the top of the frame, thus giving you the 15-20mm of misalignment you are experiencing. I appreciate that no two welds are the same, but yours has been re-welded imho. If other members could provide a photo of their their bracket positions this will become immediately obvious. That’s a bugger🤨

After seeing 3scs pics I tend to agree. Look at the angle of the hole between the 2 pics, 3scs has a slot sloping inwards, yours slopes outward.

Dom, where is your earth cable going from the battery? it's supposed to run downwards from the terminal and bolt to the upper engine hanger bolt, yours seems to be going towards the electrical panel under the left hand side panel. The positive cable doesn't look right either. I know you're running a MotoGadget wiring harness but that looks a little iffy to me.

Do you think its in a k3 frame, come to think of it the riveted frame number looks like its been cut off and refitted.

Earthing Ken, it seems to have more than is necessary to me, no two ways about it, its been bu@@ered about with before I did my thing to it😅

Just as well I didn't get tge frame powdercoated and did a diy job on it with a brush I suppose, get the dremel out and lop it off is the only solution.  Get to try out my lack of welding skills again

There are some differences between the F and K3 frames. The biggest difference is the swinging arm but it may not have that on anymore. Post a pic of the swinging arm and let's see if it's an F or a K3 one.

Did the frame come with a small plastic box near the coils, for all the switchgear wiring to go into?

That top rear mout looks wrong to me, sure it should be orizontal

That's just a perished old grommet that was fitted when I first got it, I'm now certain its the top right having been removed and welded back on in the wrong place, I'm not sure why it would have been though.

The swinging arm is 550F, the frame plate says it’s a 550F. Does the frame number correspond?

I thought it was an F swingarm due to the closed ends, the frame number on the headstock is so painted over its illegible, I'll rub it back this week with my dremel

Yesterday I flatted back the 2K lacquer and polished with my DA polisher, real quick way to get a mirror like shine and take a nick out of your freshly painted side cover when using one handed😤  luckily only small so I think I should be able to touch it in.

Without a front mudguard brace you will find the forks flex more. Maybe consider a fork brace that clamps around tge top of the sliders, that should suit the look.

I might chop up my front mudguard and use it Ken, I'm not sure what i think of the mudguardless look quite but a trimmed down one will look good I think.

I meant to say, I cleaned up the headstock and it matches the frame number on the plate so definitely an F frame and correct, only solution is to cut the tab off and weld it back correctly, not looking forward to that!
