I've had serious issues with that company too.  Most recently on a pair of sloper wheels with spokes too short.  I think I built those wheels 11 times as they kept asking for more and more photos. They kept quoting their 'bible' and years of experience and wanted us to pay for another set to my dimensions.  I said that if they were so confident that the ones they sent were correct, then put them back on the shelf and sell them to someone else and provide us with sets to my dimensions.  They accused me of lacing them incorrectly (more pics) then the rims must be wrong so I used a profile gauge on them and the originals (more pics) I was really pissed off with them by the end and will never deal with them again or recommend them to others.  Whether their system has changed or their 'bible' has been computerised (with all that that entails) I don't know but must have had 30 sets of spokes supplied correctly by them in the past without problems.
I can feel my blood pressure rising as I write this!  I was doing this as a favour for a mate!

I would not mind Ian but I sent them samples from the front and rear wheels, inner and outer spokes and they still got one of them wrong  ::)

Twice I had the wrong nipples, wouldn’t go through the holes. They tried to tell me that my rim was wrong.😳 even although the holes were exactly same size as the original. It was a DID replacement.

Daft question but presumably DS sell spoke kits so are they not more reliable or are they very expensive?

I have had great luck  with the CMS.NL Kits. They even have the correct gold/yellow Cad nipples.
not sure if they have stainless.

CWC have offered to take the outer spokes back and copy my samples, in the meantime I've torqued them up and this is the extent of the bow.  Is it something I can get away with or should I get then remade?  I'm just concerned that if they come back wrong or even worse than what I currently have I won't have a leg to stand on.

Reading this Horror story about spokes makes me glad I've passed any problems with rims or spokes to the team at CWS.
I dropped off  my bare F&R hubs 500 hubs for powder coating & building with new valanced alloy rims SS spokes etc & for tyres to be fitted in December 2023.

When I enquired as to progress a couple of weeks ago the rims were at the Anodisers. That said when they did my 400 rims they were spot on aside from a tyre being fitted wrongly - an error they sorted foc by collecting the wheel & delivering it back.

My BiL has used them for many years never having an issue with the standard of builds mainly on old 2T Yamahas.

I would get them re made. It will not only make it correct for you but it will help the next guy as they hopefully  start making them correct in the future.

Hagon Shocks also supply spoke kits in both galvanised and Stainless with various nipple options.

I have used this guy a few times. Excellent and he makes the spokes to fit. He builds wheels and will supply spoke kits to pattern if you send him your old ones. Works from a shed at his house and knows his stuff. Been doing it for years.

I'm not sure I can be bothered with sending them back unless the slight cilurve the outer spokes are taking is a big issue, visually its next to unnoticeable unless I put a steel rule against it.
