It should be a twin outlet but the one on it is a single with the hoses tee'd together, the other end is a 21mm nut to male threaded tank union.  Does that help Bryan?

Yeah that's what mine is Bryan, really dodgy looking thing.  Does it matter whether I use a twin or single outlet?

That’s a fair solution Dave, presumably the rubbers are still intact then?

That’d do yer Dom, at least you’ve some working feedback from Dave that it’s a good unit…..

Thanks Dave looks like a good option, I've read somewhere, possibly on here, not to use an inline filter but it seems like a sensible thing to do for added cleanliness of fuel.  What's the popular opinion?

I have one on all of ours except the VFR. It only takes a speck of crap and your day’s ruined, I use the flat ones that have a magnet in them on the inlet side and they seem to work great. That being said Multiman (Tim) bought some and they melted as soon as fuel went through them so only get from the decent sellers, etc, yer know.
I only fitted these as they were the smallest I could find that fitted the gap I wanted them in but I’ve had no faults at all.

Excuse picture I had to lean over 2 bikes and dangle upside down as the 550 is against the wall and o knew that one’s not rigged up to the tank yet so was visible for a piccie.

I pay about £4.50, Tim paid a bit less and his were green so
stay away from the green ones!

I only used the tap not the pipe or filter but so far (4 months) tap seems to be working fine, turning smoothly with no leaks.
