Small hole on back of headlight bucket

Anyone know what the small hole is for on the back of headlight bucket circled in red?

There was nothing going through it when I stripped it down. Only thing I can think it’s for the idiot light cable?

Its not supposed to be there

Might have been drilled by a PO for mounting a small toggle switch.
