Keihin jets

Can anyone advise me where to get a genuine or quality pattern main jet for my C90. Jets plus has poor reviews and Allen's performance mixed. I prefer to go by recommendation rather than reviews though. Cheers.

There have been a lot of negative reports about the Keystone brassware, I fitted a full set of Keystone needles and jets to my 400 - it runs like a dream.

Can someone tell me what thread on a keihin pilot jet as I would like to replace  jet that’s broken off and have to be drilled  out and tapped for a replacement .

Is all keyster stuff no good. I ask as I used keyster float valves and idle jets in my carb rebuild and they worked mighty fine! I didn’t contrast and compare the replacement with the originals microscopically, but the float valves do their job and the bike runs perfectly. The bike won’t take throttle when cold and on choke, but I think “they all do that sir”. And the bike runs perfectly off choke in less time than it takes to zip my jacket and put my lid and gloves on.

I've used Keyster on my 400f and it runs fine. There may be cheap Chinese copies about, so be careful where you buy them from.

I am of the view that Keyster carb parts are much maligned, my experience with Merc parts is they can have production issues that are later fixed, that does not mean everything they produce is crap.

Easy enough to discredit a manufacturer for one batch error that was later rectified or to perpetuate problems that never existed. It's hard to disprove a negative sometimes. I have seen some manufacturers that produced poor quality parts evolve into top products (Quinten Hazel springs to mind in the 1960's) more recently Blueprint aftermarket parts.
