Do you mean an LED bulb or a complete lamp unit I used the Land Rover complete LED unit.https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/303960372602

That unit may not fit in the 550F2 as they have a shallow headlamp bowl as all the wire junctions go back to a box under the tank instead of joining in the headlight, so it'll all be down to the depth of the LED unit.

The unit is much shallower than any conventional headlamp by far.
Pretty confident it will fit easily, If you go online you will find dimensions showing the depth stages.
The rim actually holds a good half of the outer section then it's rebated twice at the back. All the dimensions are on the link if you go through the photos, depth from the outside lens bulge to the back section only 2.86"  for the smaller inside section. I doubt the original headlamp is less than 3"in total depth.

Only assumption I am making is that it's a standard 7" diameter rim like my 500. It's a straight fit in my DS aftermarket rim kit.The one I bought was Osram LED's it has the necessary DOT SAE E markings on the outer lens.
There are higher wattage versions but I wanted the power consumption to be about the same as or less than the original bulbs.
