So, where are E-Bay going to make back the revenue they are losing from the fees?

They are also introducing a payment system where they keep your money until you request it ... bit like PayPal used to be when eBay bought it up and probaby hoping you leave it there so that they can accrue interest on it. Fine by me I would prefer it that way as I spends loads on eBay anyway and if it saves me paying over 13% on both sales and the postage as we do now (unless we got the 80% off option)  I am happy.

In the news I've been reading about how they are going to make all sellers pay tax on their sales, I'm not too sure if it is really everyone and everything though. Maybe Ebay I trying to soften the blow if there is one?

That's HMRC George. Anyone that sells more than 30 item a year, or with a total of more than £1770 value per year, Ebay have to send the details of that person to HMRC from January next year. Ebay won't collect the tax, that'll be collected in the normal way by HMRC when you submit your annual Self Assessment return. If not registered for SA at present, thise people that sell more than the above limits, will need to register

Or just call yourself a global corporate company on your self assessment and pay very little tax😁
