Good day, everyone, I've been lurking for a while here and for quite a while on the US site.  Thought I'd better introduce myself.  75 years old, retired, and have been riding several bikes over the years, mostly modern sport tourers.  A couple of years ago, I purged my collection down to one sport tourer and at this stage of my "career" I thought I'd tackle a restoration project.  I always wanted a CB350F (or similar vintage Honda) for many years, and finally was able to pick up an affordable one.  I'm well on the way with it, with the help of forum members, and always soaking up information.

My avatar is a pic of the bike the day I brought it home.  It looks better there than it actually is, it needed cleanup and all the red bits need new paint.  I"m trying to keep it as original as possible, or at least the original look as possible.

In any event, happy to be here.

Well, compared to me you are no longer a Newbie but welcome.

It would seem there are a few 350F's in and around this forum which is great news and I certainly look forward to seeing how your restoration progresses.

I have a stepson in BC who rides a Rocket 3 which I guess is needed because the distances are so vast that a 350F would likely run out of fuel between stations

Thanks, Otis.  My 350F is proceeding slowly... I have other priorities, but I peck away at it.  Currently have to pull the carbs again as they need tweaking of the float levels and re-syncing.  But I'm getting there..... on the list this winter is refurbing the wheels, spokes and hubs.  I'm not in a real hurry, but it's moving up the priority list and I'd like to finish up over the winter if I can.

Hi Rayzerman welcome to the forum , you probably get quite long cold winters way up there so you’ll have plenty of time to work on the bike .

The weather here is not the stereotypical "Great White North", the southernmost part of Onataio is on a latitude of northern California.  However, having a heated shop is good, no worries.
