400 Four idiot light bracket paint finish
« on: July 29, 2025, 12:11:54 PM »
Does anyone know what the original paint finish was on the bracket that the idiot light console and  the Speedo/ tacho bowls attach to. Same as the frame or satin?

Thanks
Dave

I did mine in satin also, along with the headlamp/indicator mount.

This is the bit, just wondering if it's something something Honda bought in with the clocks and idiot lights and might have been painted to match the clocks.

The indicator bracket had the same enamel as the frame from the residues I can see on an old bent one I have  saved for some reason.

Regards
Dave

Same with me, I could see it was someone elses work whatever it had leaving the factory. It looked a bit tacky to me and I was much happier with the satin finish I applied.  8)
