Emulsion tubes question

Good morning all..
I'm putting my 500 K1 carbs back together...
Should the emulsion tubes be a snap in tight fit or not very tight ?
My original cleaned ones push in fairly easily and not tight... do they get held in place my main jet o ring and spring once all together ?
 :)

I can only speak from limited personal experience, but my tubes dropped in easily and the bike functions perfectly.

Light push fit held by mains and clip till crud sets in!
