what fits on this bracket

This part (147) has the hook for the rubber strap that tidies up the wiring harness, but I don't know what the bit that sticks out is for. Looks similar to the bit that the indicator relay rubber mount attaches to.

Regards
Dave

It's for the speed sensor on JDM models, but Honda used the same bracket on all world market models.

Thanks Julie, explains the chosen description in the parts book.

Thinking of using it for a small electronics module.

I wondered why it was referred to as a 'Stay, speed unit' on CMSL, it made precious little sense to me at the time. It was one of the many bits missing from Elen when I got her seven years ago. I got one from DSS (part # 38555377000) and it went rusty very quickly.  ::) So if you get one it helps to paint it before you fit it.  8)

I zinc plated a spare one recently when I did all the clock bases, but then forgot to swap it out when I installed the new horn😡

George, how is Elen, did you get to the root cause of the problem?
