Replacing cables on coils

Morning guys

Just a quick question has anyone ever changed the cables on the ignition coils ? , my coils on my 400 f work but the wiring is a little short on one of the plugs presumably where they have been cut down in the past.

These looked like sealed units so just wondered if anyone had a similar problem before .
