Make sure you have checked the appropiate partslist for your specific model. My CB500K2-ED, like the CB550K2, does not have these D washers anymore and has 7mm* instead of 8mm bolts.

Funny this should come up. A few weeks back I noticed that there seemed to a quite a large gap in the yoke where the pinch bolts pass through, I looked at the parts list for mine (1975 550 K1), and it showed the D washer 38205-323-000, I’ve ordered but still waiting on delivery.

38205-323-000 is a fuse-holder  ;)...it's a ---300---- part.

Apologies Ash, you’re correct it was 53235-300-000 that I ordered.

Just checked mine, washers are missing.  Was not aware of them being needed in 1995 when I put the bike together.  Evidently, I have been lucky.  I am planning to rebuild my forks soon as the oil seals have started weeping this year.  I will include washers.  Thanks for the warning.

Florence, depends on spanner size of bolts, if 10mm spanner its big bolts, if 8mm its smaller bolts
