CB750F1 - 1976 UK model seat cover.
« on: January 02, 2026, 07:55:44 PM »
Dear All,

My 750F1 1976 model has the wrong seat cover. See attached photos of the red bike.

For purely cosmetic reasons, I would like to put the correct pattern cover on.

I would like the pattern shown on the screenshot of the blue bike. P&K have the pattern attached which has a double line down the middle and David Silver has the one with no line.

Is there anyone on here who has the original cover on their bike or can give me an idea of which is more like the correct one?

My cover also has the Honda logo on the back which P&K say is incorrect.

Thanks in anticipation.

Mike W.

OK just been up into the loft and took some photos, this is the original seat off my 1976 Honda CB750F1, I bought it new on the 12th April 1976, The original tank leaked so I bought a new CB750F2 tank and seat from a fledgling David Silver spares company from an ad in MCN.
The original tank and seat where kept in storage.
Here are the photos, the seat has not been molested at all and does have Honda written on the back of it.

Dennis,

Thanks very much for your reply. Your photos show that the David Silver one is closest to the original, albeit without the Honda logo.

Kind regards, Mike .
