CB-Mail?
« on: January 12, 2026, 05:01:19 PM »
With the regular increases in shipping and postage costs, I was wondering if we should set up an informal members service like “VifferMail” (when I had a VFR800 and was on the VFR forum).

It worked quite well.

For example, if I had an exhaust to ship but didn’t want the hassle of packing it for a courier or paying Royal Mail, I could advertise on here for anyone in the area who heading in the general direction.
After a few steps the package ends up close to the recipient.

Thoughts?

Great idea Steve. Although I'm out on a limb here in Lincolnshire, I spend a lot of time on the A1/M, A14, M11, M25 and A21 down to Kent / East Sussex. Always happy to help out.

It's a great idea Steve. They have done it on a vintage radio & electronics forum I have been on for years and it seems to work really well.
Also an opportunity to meet other members.

Great idea Steve, happy to oblige.
I do have to say though I read your post with shock and horror, you used to have a VFR000. Obviously you still have it but forgotten about it, nobody gets rid of the best bike Honda ever made (just as nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition  ::)).
