Ice cream parlor run today to South Bohemian Prachatice, been loads of bikes out on the mountain passes.

26c on that day, been no rain for almost two weeks now.
Suits me fine but the farmers are moaning.

Heading in your direction next month for the Simmer Dim rally, should we expect similar weather?

-10 maybe 😂 seriously fingers crossed for descent weather for it. I worked in Shetland for a small period of time in the later 70’s. I used to drool over a nice CB750 exactly the same as yours same colour too, I had a CD175 at the time. Wonder if that bike survived the ravages of time? Apparently quite a good classic bike scene there too.

Is that Cesky Krumlov where you are parked up Skoti?
We went there on a rail holiday a couple of years ago. Whilst we were there the South Bohemia car rally came through the square and parked up overnight, some amazing old vehicles were there. Lovely place to visit and worth going along the fast moving river in a kayak.

It's Prachatice we're parked in, it's not far from Cesky Krumlov and has similar architecture.
Glad you enjoyed your holiday there.

Coincidentally we've just arrived home from a bike run to Cesky Krumlov and up the Vltava river to lake Lipno, it's typical for us that we encountered the first rain shower for ages.
