Your V5 should show the current frame and engine number.
It's possible that one or both may have changed on an old bike unless you have photo copies of the original V5 from when the bike was new. Closely matching numbers helps.

We don´t have V5 here but "registreringsbevis". Both frame and engine number are correct.

Have downloaded K1 parts catalogue, with that and CSMNL will probably be able to track the parts i need.

I found this online. It seems  fairly comprehensive, whether it's accurate or not, I don't know!

The longest they stood still was on the Container Ship leaving Japan.

Some sat in warehouses for years Ted. Some sat in dealerships for months and months. My BIL has a 76 registered K1 built in 1973.

When I was in the car trade we sold a 'new' Opel  Acona Auto in 1976 that had been in our stock for just over two years, it was probably six months old when we bought it from the importer.

Worst Honda for that was the 550K3 and 750F2 they hung about in crates and were sold to dealers with extra discount to shift them

Queens Park Motors and Bill Smiths of Chester got together and bought all the first model cx500s that Honda couldn’t sell after the cx500a came out. They bought hundreds of them. Everyday an artic full would arrive with around 70 or so bikes on. Went on for weeks and after a while we noticed the crates were getting tattier and tattier. The last ones were virtually falling to pieces. One fell off the trailer, 3 high up. Landed on it’s rear end and bent the frame. We scrapped that one for parts. Only to find we had oversold by 1 so we had to build it back up again. And guess who got that job? Yeah of course I did. Went out on test and was almost sat side saddle the frame was so bent. I refused to sign the paperwork, which really got them upset. Went for dinner and when I came back there it was all straight again. Seems they took it upstairs where there were some exposed girders and using an hydraulic jack they straightened the frame. It was all rippled but it looked straight. I refused to show it to the owner. It never came back though.

Think the CB500 Twin was not a quick seller either, not here anyway.

And a seat that looked like you’d have a curry the night before that gave you dysentery.
