Hi, Guys,
Can anyone tell me the correct distance from top of steering stock to bearing seat, not sure if we got old bearing shell stuck in there.

Thanks for reply, from top of stock to bearing seat measures 8mm then there is steal collet of 5mm sitting on another seat, checked a k5 frame I had in store and it was the same set up, was thinking perhaps this is possible a hardened collet for bearing to sit on. This is what happens when you break a bike down and leave it for years, ( memory block ). Cheers Jock.
