switches Matt or gloss

Just about to start on my switches and need to know if they are Matt or Gloss black. also any recommendations of spray paints to do the job

Original finish is anodised black, however the nearest match i have found was satin black spray paint

Frame and brackets  including battery box are all gloss black, i am pretty sure the chain guard is as well

i was an engraver in a past life ... I used to use air powered syringes to put colour fill in engraved lettering in things like household electic switches, brass plaqaues and stuff like that . So a decent engraver shoud be able to do the lettering

Thanks for all the advise i had a go and I think they look OK
first paint and bake in the oven (her in doors will never know)

Great job billy how did you do the red?

i used a fine sewing needle first, but soon scraped that idea and just put a big blob into the letter and wiped off quickly with clean t paper. works OK
