original colours

when I first purchase my CB500/4,it was in Ford Purple/lilac. ( blame 70's scene) !!

I have since had painted gloss black,tank and side panels,

BUT ??
what were the original colours ???

and does anyone know a modern colour match ??

UK colours would be starlight gold, Brown or Black. There are no "standard" codes for these and the metallics are a 3 pack

Quite right Oddjob, was a bit tired last night. Many years back I had mine done Mettalic Black by the the firm that did all the CO-OP black cars

I have a NOS Gold Tank on my shelf, imported from the US for my big rebuild, trouble is I don't know which gold it is as it wasn't in a Honda box----Doh
