resin in tank falling apart

Yes we must be insane. My father always asked; why do you ride about on these old bike's when there are better upto date bike's out.
Yes, i have had CBR900rrr, ect, ect, but am more happier bombing about on a old CB,CD or CX.
I think it is because our bikes have character, something that a modern bike just can not give us.

Hi,
I've said it before, modern bikes look the same, you sometimes can only tell what they are when you are close enough to read the label!---ken

billy192:
with you there, lots of character and great memories of the 70s on these bikes.  ;D ;D

Lobo:
...mmm, well, I reckon we're all beginning to sound like our fathers when the refined Hondas burst onto the scene..."Eee, modern crap, soulless, no character, wouldn't catch me on one...can't beat my 1943 Triumph xxx!"

Sound familiar gents.... as we all ride our 1970s Hondas! Let's not get too old too fast.. keep an open mind!

Love all my bikes... and would never call the 1200 M'Guzzi Griso 'bland' - an awesome machine just to look at, (I think)... and the big in line V twin giving the thing a lot of 'character' when riding.

Just a thought...

(PS - to get back on track, no resin in any tanks!)

RGP750:
Tears just stopped running down my face, nothing like a look back at the past and a good laugh. Oh the memories. I've still got one of those tins of chain goo, don't use it now but a shame to chuck it away.
I remember taking it off of my Mum's cooker and dripping over the kitchen floor oops!!!
,yes we are all mad  ;D ;D ;D
