4 cylinder BSA

Not really, Nearly finished the restoration, just need the wheels and paint back.
Got the urge to get her running again so pinched the tank from my BSA ,
perfect, starts and runs great ,well on the bench anyway.
Min 3 weeks for wheels and paint next weekend.
Desperate for a ride now.
A huge thanks  to Bitsa for his vast amount of help with this project,
my quickest at 6 months.

it turned into a full restoration,too much to type so

Looking good,Sorry all notice the front stay and its a k2 still not convinced about some did some didnt.Like the tank I use a cg125 as a stop gap when servicing carbs balance etc.

All of the US k2's i've had have both stays. Did some uk bikes only have a rear stay then?

I'm in Ashford and hoping to go to Eridge in July (if the wheels come back)
My son goes, Tuesday night i think, There is a guy near here with a KO and i know he wants to go.
I'll get the details from my Son and let you know exact location time date etc.

As to the debate re mudguard stay i know this is a one owner from new and unmolested (until know that is)

Cool thanks rich - will probably pop up on the K1 and my mate andy is borrowing my brown k2 at the moment and I'm sure he'll be up for a ride out as well.

All of the US k2's i've had have both stays. Did some uk bikes only have a rear stay then?
This is a mystery to me on the dutch site they show both stays for k0 to k6
The only thing I can remember because I pdi several k2s in the UK they had holes for front number plate where as when introduced the new law no front number plate they changed no pre drilled mudguards.The k6 definetly had both same with all French models
So where did this single stay come from!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bitsa, single stay mudguards came from Honda Most singles will be found in the states. Why? only MR HONDA knows.
Double stay listed as ED & E (European Direct & England)

So far as I can tell, front stays for the K0, K1 & K2 are original spec for English models. The forward stay part # does not stipulate all countries except England (E),

This said, the English (E) part # for the complete K2 'guard is different... is this due the forward stay .....or something else; eg numberplate holes?

Confused... but liking my 2 stay K2!

PS Rich... your K2 looking very nice, quite like the tank mod!
