What would be your ideal resto 'tiddler'

I have deliberately tried to step my resto projects in size. ie. CB250, 400/4, CB750. I did own a C200 as by first bike but I always liked the S90 much more, so that would be my choice if I ever restored another bike. What would be everyone's choice of smaller bike/tiddler?

C70, CB175K6 I think, CB250K4 the whole of my youth bike life b4 the 750.As a mechanic got to ride most of the others.
Did have a cb350 engine in a 250 k4 bike for a while went quite well

What part of tiddler don't you understand James

I really like the cl250 does a 250 count as a tiddler.

I used to love my sloper CD175 but they are too expensive to restore now. The genuine exhausts are rarer than rare. Lovely little bikes though as was the SS125. A tiddler to me is a bike below 200cc. The 250K0 is a really nice looking bike too but again some parts are very rare ( as I am finding out !). Had a CB160 once and it seemed very dated even in 1974 as did my CB72  The  CL version of the 160 looks quite cute as does the CL72 ( you could pretend you are Elvis in Roustabout.) Oh S@@t i just found out it was a CB77 Superhawk  :o  Was the CB160 the only ever Honda with a 'sprung' seat

I've always liked multis and would choose a 250Kawasaki-3 over most small bikes, I know that's not really a "tiddler" or a Honda but the smallest bike that I'd really like.
There is a 175 sloper (I believe) that gets to a bike meet near me which has been really nicely retored and it does sound nice. The owner has a 250 supersix Suzuki as well and it quite regularly out on either one of them.

Honda CL72 for me. I think they look fab...only downside being they might be a little small for me.

Easy question for me, I still have my first bike a kh125k6, 1985 aircooled, rotary disk valve 2 stoke. Running right and sorted it was lovely, it needs a lot of work, engine rebuild (again)  I also have a suzuki dr125 from the early 80s, long term project as I don't want to spend much at all on it. The trail ride company I occasionally work for have a more modern one and for such a tiddler machine it keeps up with the bigger bikes, and ridden well, will run circles around even the 400cc drz bikes ridden by a fairly average rider. I would quite like a 2 stoke trailbike, but suepect the maintenance would be too much of a chore.

I saw these two bikes last sunday of interest to this topic, I hadn't seen a 125 like that before. It did look really good, and I like the instrument display of the 250.

That's an SS125 .. lovely bike on sale the same time as the 'sloper CD175. I fitted SS125 standard exhausts to my sloper back in the day. The SS125 cam chain runs down one side I think, not between the two cylinders. Rare now and exhausts a nightmare to find.

I am restoring one of these attached in the same colour (Candy Ruby red same as my 750), not quite a tiddler.  Note the lack of indicators as these were optional on our UK bikes but the wiring was always fitted. Can't wait to get it on the road but again parts a nightmare. Lucky enough to get NOS exhausts and chrome chainguard for it though as they are  like rocking horse poo. Mine will be fitted with indicators. Got some nice used parts from Germany too, usual eBay rubbish in the UK.

Pricey though. Frank at Motorcycles Unlimited has one. Note the Magnesium Alloy massive front hub. Even the tyre pump for them goes for an absolute fortune, as do the factory race parts particularly the suede racing seat,
