Will a 1978K tank fit a 1978F1?

We have a 78 F1 model and need a new tank, does a K model fit?

Probably not! The only tanks that will fit prpperly are 750F1 and 750F2 tanks, but they use different fuel taps, F2 has smaller thread on the tap mounting boss::)

Quite happy to do some 'alterations' to the tank to make it fit.
