Yep that's the one - if it was 3/4, then that will make it rich I guess? May explain why no choke required?

Got to put guages on (too late now - don't want too wake neighbours kids!) But tick over steady cold without choke - revs fine. Clutch really noisy until I pull in clutch (may be carbs out of balance?) - everything in clutch is new except basket

These clutches are known to be noisy but, i don't know how noisy your is.
You can go to 1 1/4 on the screw if it is still rich.

You need to get the carbs set up and it strobed. Maybe the carb slide are too high.

You have got me there because i don't use manual's. I bench synchronize them and once on, then vacuum gauge them up. You will have to search.

Thanks Graham - its not the mechanics of carbs I need (had them in a thousand bits for zincing/etc) but more the settings info - its 30 years since I set the old 4's up.

Hi Phil,

From my manual, this posting in due parts due # of pics. The manual is basic K0, with supplements for K2-K4.

These pics are for the initial (K2) set up... and yup, apologies for the quality but work from an iPad..

It don't stop still frackin about after 4 years some days runs 100 percent next week farts and fracs about then real fine and so on.Cant wait to test ride my next one in the garage starts perfect runs great but until you go out and give it some you don't know but I will not be beaten

I'm a bit away from test riding - just made up it run straight away. When every part has been to bits (particularly carbs for zinc plating), just relieved it started! I'm ahead of schedule anyway as geared up for spring test/MOT but hopefully will be sooner.
