James, is it normal to have the paper work so out of date on these imports ? It is stamped 2011

Yeah so long as it's genuine and HMRC stamped - you can apply to HMRC to have a NOVA number generated from the C&E 386. There are still a few bikes knocking around with C&E386's that people haven't got around to restoring yet...
