I've had a 400 twin auto that has a few things in common with the 750.
Torque convertor and two ratio box worked surprisingly well. You aren't intended to change gear, low for around town or steep hills, high the rest of the time.
It was not much quicker than a 125 but kept up with traffic.
Accept it for what it is and you might enjoy it. They're rare here because no one likes them so I wouldn't expect to find many people saying go for it.
Parts for the 400 were cheap even from the US.
