Hi fitted my front wheel bearings today .but when I've put spindle back in and nipped it up the wheel won't turn .if I just nip it up finger tight it's ok .we're have I gone wrong

Is the spacer from between the bearings fitted? Is the sleeve nut on the spindle fitted the right way round, and the spindle itself in the wheel the right way?

Yeah the spacer is between the bearings every thing right way checked with schematics .when I fitted bearings I left a little gap between the spacer and the bearings .after watching a video on u tube could it be I should not have left a gap .??

Certainly seems a strange thing to do! Is the bearing under the retaining ring fully home, it does need to be? I personally would check both bearings are fully home, and the retaining ring is in as far as it will go.
