Not sure how that table was compiled but the 400 number is wrong according to the link to the site. Latest is 30 licensed and 80 sorn.

There's more than 30 400fours in the country.   There's 5 in this little town, all on the road too.
Where's that 10mm socket got to?

How many more are like my 400/4, seriously fettled and rebuilt 1980's cafe racer, registered, but its been garaged without MOT, and off-road from before "sorn" was required, but bike-pusher ain't getting it!
nice bike,nothing in the bank

The list was from the site

"any errors are mine in compling it I just checked some Honda CB models as an example and there are several more variants for each model"

From the link you can check out your specific bike model

I believe the info is all from DVLA stats and I am sure there are many just sat in the back of garages some lost -  some cherished and also pre sorn info

According to the page there is 24 CB650SC on the road and 90 SORN. Not many for sale. Last time I have checked on the famous auction page, on trader and on G-tree I have found 2 in UK.

Sorry but I don't think this can be accurate for old vehicles.  Most if not all registration documents for motorcycles of this era do not have the model listed on the V5.  The usual thing is '2 Wheel Motorcycle'.  This has been the case for all the bikes I have owned.  I think the model might be listed on newer machines or imports registered more recently.

On both my V5 documents there is no model shown at all, this field is blank.
The Body Type (next line on the V5) is shown as 'Motorcycle'.
You have to look at the frame and engine numbers to get an idea of what the bike is.

Both my 400s are "sleepers". Wonder what numbers of these old girls are really out there?
One day I'll have the time to restore it, not just talk and dream....
