You mean Monyash? great roads in that vicinity. There's a section of road near Crowdecote that reminds me of that hill in San Francisco that they used in films a lot. The one with the tight bends coming down a steep hill.

There's a good cafe in Monyash that my son says makes great bacon sarnies, never stopped myself, I'm in the groove when I'm near there and just want to find as many corners as I can so I can get my knee down. Silly I know but bends have always done it for me.
That's the spelling - the cafe is the Old Smithy and yes it does make excellent bacon sarnies  ... I'll have a look for Crowdecote

Just back from Stafford Show - it was busy with the weather being so pleasant.

I'll put a few photos up on Monday.

Ted, some very shiny stuff there. I would have gone if it was not for a trip to the Canaries  ;)

After much winching about the weather, yesss we are off. Touring bike this morning and this beast this afternoon. Just 10 degrees c here today so a tad cool.

Pic taken at top of Wideford Hill looking down on the capital Kirkwall. It’s pronounced “wide” “ford” not wid-e-ford.

Managed to get out again and get a run in after the chain / sprocket swap and also changing the swing arm again.

All good it would seem - rear brake needed a quick adjustment but that was it

Cold but dry - I’ll take that :) and apparently I missed a few “fours” yesterday - a couple of 750’s and a 500 with twin front disks .... anyone one here I wonder

At the cafe at Monyash

We got out on the CD250u's today. Only about 70 miles but a stop off for a very hearty full English brekkie made it a very nice trip out.
