Is the trip knob on the underside or on the side of the speedo.

I have an ND speedo off a 750 and I'm fairly sure it's got a blue facia as well. Bought it by mistake thinking it was a CB550F2 gauge. I'll have a look for it.

Thanks for the link. My trip knob is on the side at around 15-20 mph position.

Well I've seen a lot worse than those! Looks like there's no damage to the bodies around the rim. If you want to go the DIY route I should be able to find a face that could have a face overlay applied to it although the best option is new gauge faces. The quality of some vinyl overlays is questionable.

A couple of images, one with a warped face and another where a spider had taken up residence inside the gauge.

Who supplies new gauge faces? I’m open to considering all options, short of the purchase of brand new genuine gauges.

I once had some replica clocks for the CB750 that were new and certainly looked the part. They were bought to fit during "down time" whilst the originals were sent to be refurbished. However, the replica tacho showed a higher red line than the ND unit and, when fitted I found that it over read by 50% or more compared to the original unit.

I removed the replicas from the bike and refitted the originals (still not refurbished) and things returned to normal again.

I still have the replicas in the garage in their original boxes, though I did remove the case from the tacho to decide whether I could fit new faces to my originals myself in the garage (I eventually thought that it was beyond my ability to make a decent job of this).

If anyone wants to collect them from Norfolk, the replicas are available free of charge.

Send them off to Peter - Kent400; he'll do a great job on them - ask him to do the damper too - and then compatibility won't be a problem.

Also probably cheaper than replicas.
CB750 K2 - Ridden from Belfast(SA)-2-Belfast(NI)!
CB750 K1 - The less, said the better!
CB450 K1 - A work in progress.
CB400F Supersport - Rusty - not any more!
