Gauge face screws
« on: July 25, 2023, 04:04:50 PM »
Does anyone know the size of the four screws that retain the speedo and tacho faces, and indeed where to get them. CB faces and CMSL haven't produced a result. Some of mine are pretty rusty and I'd rather replace them than clean them up.

They are an odd size IIRC - maybe M2.2. I'll check for you.

I've checked and I think I re-tapped for the dial screws to M2.5. I couldn't get a flat, black slotted screw so I ended up with a suitable one that was M2.5 but a crosshead...
(I'm quite lucky as I have taps down to micro sizes)
