Kill switch question for 500?
« on: August 28, 2023, 11:32:20 PM »
I have read somewhere on this site that there are two types of Kill switch on Hondas.

Looking at the 500 wiring loom diagrams its an inline switch to the coil feeds that is ON in the central position, moving it up or down breaks the circuit so the switch itself just consists of two wires.

What has confused me is a photo of a switch that appears to have three wires am I correct in thinking that there are only two for this function.?

Thanks Mick that fits in with the wiring diagram, I started to doubt myself when I saw a photo by Andy.

I have spent a couple of hours today making a new short loom my LED rear light unit plus generally looking at the best fit for my wiring routes.
