Christmas
« on: December 19, 2010, 03:56:55 PM »
Might one be the first to wish all who read the stuff on here a Happy Christmas and a Merry New year (I prefer it that way round!)

Remember:--

Always lean on a wall at the new year do----it hurts far less when you hit the ground slowly after the legs stop working!!

Only problem i have at work is trying to get the Freelander drivers to do more than 16mph when its only slush.

Firms had 2 written off this month, one had stopped on a hill by oakhampton and it just started sliding backwards, jacknifed, went through the central reservation destroying the fuel tank (500lites of Derv) and twisted the cab off. Other was stopped on the hard shoulder when a Scania hit the trailer at some speed and pushed the trailer into the cab----This was a few weeks ago BEFORE the white stuff.

Apart from that still averaging 5-600 Km per night shift but taking a couple hours longer to do it.

On the pluss side my dearly beloved, who loves me to bits, has insisted i use the L200 to go to work so i have been having fun with the 4WD insted of the 405 shed.

Have fun all an no falling off!

Best wishes to all our readers from me too.
Determined that  during 2011 I will get the 'K0' finished and my 400/4 out of its 24 year 'hibernation'
Mission also for 2011 - find that elusive K0 'rolled rear wheel rim'.

Cheers ! This must be one of the friendliest forums on the web!!
