Top yoke replacement
« on: May 08, 2014, 09:55:43 PM »
I am just looking at my new project (CB750 K2) and putting together a parts wish list.
I'll need some valve caps (the bolts that cover the valve)
I need also a top yoke, mine has a crack at the tightening bolt.
for sure I don't want to buy a similar one (with the rhino horn).
What other models do adapt to this model (even not Honda).

Thanks

I'll let you know soon.
I paid £16 (incl P&P)
It's worth giving it a go.

Thanks

I thought that the F2 had bigger diameter fork tubes

If you have the k2 clocks they will not fit on to nothing else except the rhino yoke hope you have considered this

My intention is to "shave off" the raisers as I have clip ons and the speedo mounted on the headlight.
The cbx one will be great as it will save me the shaving bit.

Mark, I bought a Honda Cbx1000 top yoke. It's not a straight swap.  Cbx  seems to have wider forks..

"thanks"

I've got a CB750K7 top yoke ...don't know if it will fit.

Ash, i guess the k7 looks like the one i have already.
Unfortunately its not great for my purpose as i cannot shave the raisers off.
It would leave 2 huge holes.

Still the CBX one is perfect apart from the fork diameter variances.
Cb750 F2 (and k2) is 35mm
CBX 1000 IS 39mm

Let's see it. Thanks to both of you.
I have just realised that also the CBX1000 one is 1 cm wider.
