Yeah would have it in a flash if I were on my own or won last nights lottery. My sadly passed away young bruv had one of those and sold it cheap cos he could not keep up with the cost of rear tyres and again I was at the wrong time of life to buy it off him damn shame.
Some lucky soul will take that
Cheers

You are a nasty woman Julie ;D but, Bitsa already has two bikes for his wife. Don't think he could get away with a third.

That CBX has been about for sale for the past couple of years now. Just a shame it is a later model.

Me, nasty, never, havn't got a nasty bone in my body, until someone really winds me up  ;D ;D ;D
I don't know anything about the CBX's, In my mind not the prettiest of bikes out there, looks a bit big and lumpy.

Later model ? They only made them from 1978 to 1982 and is a 1979 model.

Perhaps it is registered... Thing is, would you ever ride it? About twice the price of a decent (actually) used one.

They are so well balanced that they handle really well, especially the later version with the mono-shock, brakes aren't the best though.

I think it is Mr Yotto that has the late 1977 CBX 1000 Z with the nice 6 into six pipes.

The one I ride is a 2001 carburetor model, I don't mind addmiting that I have never ridden it to anywhere near its capacity as the pulling power frightens me to death, and my brain just does not work that fast any more  ;D ;D ;D
I also had an Exup in the mid 90's, couldn't handle the power on that either, that's when I started buying new CBR 600's, plenty fast enough for me.

Not really my cup of tea, no wonder they only made 500  ;)  I know they made it a production bike to gain entry to World Superbikes but what are they like for spares etc. ?
