If I'm not mistaken the market price can be determined here:

Nothing gets past you James  ;)

Dave I am interested in a silencer at least; if the headers are double skinned then possibly them too.

Betcha they turn out to be double-skinned like the 750 no.no. ones. Those crafty b@ggers at Yamiya obviously can source from the original manufacturers. Like the wrinkle tanks that supposedly have the same wrinkle patterns as OEM. Not so good news for Ian at Motad though, if they are double skinned. He's put a lot of effort into their repro 400/4 system and a nice bloke to deal with.
Wonder why Yamiya told me they had no plans to reproduce, no so long back (pipes I mean)  :D

They are now selling original style  400/4 sprockets too ... bikepusher is gonna have to find a new money making scheme :D

APRIL THIS YEAR ON FACEBOOK !

Ashley Derrick Great to see you are now selling CB400F parts. Will the original Sankei front exhaust pipes ever be re-manufactured please? Kind regards .. Ash (UK)

Motorcycle Yamiya 闇矢屋 Ashley Derrick Sorry for our late reply. We're afraid we don't have a plan to re-manufacture the original Sankei front exhaust so far. However, we will have more and more spare parts for CB400F.

I have confirmation that the headers are single skinned.

Has anyone tried or looked at these?

They are more like the OEM system than the Motad version that DSS used to stock, with two pipes welded to the collector.
Don't know what the quality is like, but downpipes and collector assembly comes in at £275 excluding delivery.

Tom, I can fly the silencers in for £250 inc VAT. Back order date from Yamiya is end of next month though.

You've not been inundated with orders then  :o

If you have the occasional boat there's no hurry. How do you get the rest of your stock?

Folks,

I have found another source for the headers. Indications are these are the same as the Yamiya ones except initial calculations indicate that i will be able to offer these at £310. With the silencer priced at £250, a complete set would be £560. I think this is an excellent price even for single headers.

Any takers? I don't think the headers will remain at this price for long.

Dave

Dave

I'm in for a silencer for sure. Headers I will leave in favour of rechroming my originals but yes, it's a good deal.

Thanks
