« on: April 24, 2016, 03:19:36 PM »

Hopefully in amongst all this I Have enough to to put it all back together....
Except for the pipes....
Just somthing to pass the time...
I know we all like pictures so here goes a few...
See anything missing that's gonna be a arse.

Is that the engine bit top left corner first pic? Or just a 500cc wheelbarrow!

Looks like you've most of the pieces there and should keep you busy for a while.

Mix of US and UK parts there, didn't see a rear mudguard, they can be difficult

So far so good
All went together relatively easily...
And I seem to have most parts correct for a k0..
I'm sure you will tell me differently and I will welcome the comments...
I have the correct seat and cover for it but I couldn't resist the photo opportunity .
Fuse board air box are in behind the side panels.
..I'm really kicking myself I could've picked up a useable set of pipes but past them up the other day...very pi$$ed of about that....
The wheel barrow is indeed a 500 but currently seized solid

Wiring can be a bugger, as it is all round pins (apart from the ignition block) Hard to find parts is the tank trim.

Well good news is I just contacted the chap with the pipes I past up and he still has them....so I now have a set for the bike...They  are reasonable and use able. ..but I don't think I have the 4 brackets for them I will have a good double check later but if anyone  has an old set I have a home for them..
Hopefully lift the engine in later and if ipad is playing ball ill get some more pics

Tax in post ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
I remember the day, pre internet , mobile phone and mass immigration, oh to go back to the simple hippy days of the 70,s, when big brother was not watching, mind you the down side was people like jimmy saville could get away with things undetected , we were alot more gullible then

Anyway good luck with the build , its starting to take shape

I should've named this post "building a barn find"
I am starting to wish I had cleaned some parts abit before assembly as it is all abit grubby but all very well preserved.
But this is a build up just to see what I have and more importantly what I need..
Things I know I need..
Oil filter housing....can't believe I don't have one here ...
Genuine case screws
I found 2 exhaust brackets....I've searched everywhere I cannot see the other pair.
