You can't possibly see the light at the end of the tunnel Trigger as contrary to the rumour that it has been turned off to save money in fact the bulb has been nicked!!

Clean all the secret additive (sh1t) from inside the case and cover the splines on the shaft so as not to damage the inside of the seal then just push it in square

Not sealed beam in UK always a replacement bulb but US and some other countries had sealed beam which are frequently OK in UK as they dip straight up and down not with an angled cut off like cars. A standard 7 inch car unit will fit and if used in UK you should have a parking light or sidelight as that is the "obligatory" light

You dont adjust the springs, the bolts are done up tight and thats it so a set of plates and springs may be called for but try re-adjusting it first as it may have bedded in a bit anf the adjuster gone tight

A 1/16 drill or 1mm is better, and at that you will need to screw in the idle screw to just lift the slides for a start

Only reason for heavy throttle is bad cables or bad routing. DO NOT lube the honda cables as they are nylon/rubber lined and the lube will make them swell up and be stiff
