The problem is they have put an "F" after the CB750, did the same with one of my 500's where they put a "K" and it came back 77 instead of 71.
Give them a call, number should be on the letter, and politely point out that by adding the "F" they have asked for the wrong bikes details. Mine was sorted fairly quickly

Yes you can do the MOT BUT if you want to rude it there you need insurance and on the mainland they charge for a year but it will only last 30 days on a frame number then you "Loose" the money, so if you are insistent i would trailer or van the bike to the MOT

The first Wing had a master that looked identical to the 500 but had a bigger bore and the later ones had the clear, tall reervoir with a bigger bore ---I know for serpant as i got both in bits in my tool box!! No they ain't for sale, one of these days i am building a 605 with flowed head and big cam so will need the twin discs.
Many years ago when Girling still made things the started a range of japanese brake parts and i bought an early wing one, in my opinion it was a cosmetic reject from japan as the mirror boss flange had a slight dink that was anodised over

For some reason it's always that selector that shows wear and nearly always the same pattern. If i sat and thought about it perhaps i could think of a good reason but can't really get steamed up about it.
over the years I have seen most of the gears damaged in some way but not one more than any other, as long as you strip and repair before they jump out regularly i think just the selector will cure any problem

Both are still available according to Dave Silver but over £30

Extra problem is every time it gets hot the plastic of the box deforms a bit and the fuse connection gets worse, unless you are a real stickler for originality a new blade type fusebox from vehicle wiring products is the best idea

Check the big rubber boot by the brake pedal where the brake light wires go as the points wires connect there and frequently disconnect with moving about

When you build the carbs up onto the bracket don't forget the small steel pin at the bottom inbetween 2 and 3 or there will be nothing to hook the return spring onto.
Been there, seen that, watched the video and destroted the T shirt in frustration!!!
