Thanks chaps, it's was from CCR paints, quite a lot of prep work but for rattle cans I'm very very happy with the result I got.  I just need to decide if I apply the standard 550f decals or leave it as is as its a bit of a custom build, what do you all think?

I think I'd be tempted to add some custom decals but in the Honda style font or slightly different.
You could try Diego (Piki) on here or a company called Classic Transfers (they are on the web).
When I rebuilt my Triton I called Classic Transfers and spoke with Ashley who designed the decal as I wanted it. I wanted the name 'Dresda' included within the 'Triton' script. Ashley designed a decal within hours and emailed over the design which was perfect.
I'm sure Diego could probably do the same if you sent him an idea of what you want and he's one of our site sponsors and is super helpful 👍

Lovely colour Dom and a great look especially from rattle cans. A place called IMAGE WORKS have done some stuff for me in the past with great results, have a look on the interweave and they should be easy to find.

A pals bike that was a right mix of bits got finished and they did me some wicked transfers and stickers of the word ‘ Frankenhonda’ but in the Brough Superior font, looked ace.

Great work buddy, keep it going mate

Sometime’s baking it will soften in depending on the rattle flavour/producer, sunshine has always done it for me but my painting has been a struggle over the years so gave up and farmed it out. I love doing it all except the paint.

Can you leave it in an ambient temp instead and leave for few days, surprisingly when it has gone well for me is when left to cure for a few days up to a week left in the spare room etc.

I’ve always found the clear stage the hardest bit

There's difference in IR level from ambient to sunlight, as Roo suggested, it may benefit from sunshine to help "catalyze" the mix.

I've turned the heat down a bit, the 2k clear was ProXL Roo.  I'm just hoping all my prep work and making a booth wasn't in vain

Well as the sun is looking good for the next week I can get it out on some benches during the day, see if it helps.  It takes me back to having to get my xs650 redone when the guys first attempt failed to harden after 3 weeks.

Just keep yer eye on it Dom, if you think it’s getting hot, move it or have it in a draft at the same time, you don’t want to cook it, just set it if you know what I mean.

Got it in the sun now Roo, it seems harder today after a few days at 20 or so degrees.  I wonder how long it will take?

I saw mine yesterday properly for the first time in three months under a duvet in the container. The ally has bloomed in places and it’s pretty dusty, had a harumph and walked out. Can’t deal with that at the moment!🫤
As soon as I get somewhere I can spread out a bit I’ll get going again but enthusiasm levels are low at the minute while I TRY to find somewhere to live and a job to go with it.
At least I can peruse over yours so hurry up

Chin up Roo!  Must be a good time of year to be looking for a job surely?  If you were nearer you could put a tent up in my garden, I'd offer you a room but we seem to have attracted our two eldest kids back home😃

Trying me best as yer do, thankfully it’s been warm and dry and that helps a great deal but I’ve been concentrating on working on my fishery trying to getbb by the access sorted so I can drag some machinery in when situations change. I’ll find something, so far only promises and I can’t function on those. Got a week oop norf to do a pond job for a friend but there’s not much in it, more a change of scenery and I said I’d help him so off up there after next week.

Bit quiet and rather solitary but chipper none the less. Just by the fire with some crap radio 4 extra comedy on, had the blues hour on planet rock, it’s Beyond Our Ken next, that’s always good for a chuckle.
