One blast with the Pan and a run out with the C90 is all I’ve managed so far this last week. Quite cold still but getting there. First time for a few years this one has been on the road but now 40+ year old and of course no mot required. Pumped up the tyres and adjusted drive chain as well as brakes, greased the silly suspension on the front and fitted new battery from Tayna. This will not be my first choice out of the stable but a few runs will do it good!

Nice little bike Johnny, neat  flagpole on the back of the rear carrier frame. A bit power sapping? ;)

To be fair to Roo he meant to say  - metallic beige. ;D

I've probably mentiomed it before a mate I went to Tech with (Circa 1965-7) had a Honda C90, he lived with his Gran in Derby, he commuted back home to his parents in Wales most weekends on his C90 for the two years I knew him. It never let him down & was very economical. I always thought it was a nice little bike at the time.I lost touch with him when we finished our A levels course.

It's bikes like this, plus the exotic racers that made Hondas reputation

In Leeds they were called skidders but where I grew up they weree always refered to as the 'Dog Box'. Presumably they were used to put dogs in the top box ;D You can see where I get my reasoning from? ;D Purely a Yorkshire term Johnny and mentioned with affection, like i said, you gotta love a dog box :D :D
An ex of mine had a really early 50cc that she  used to go the stables on twice a day, this is 20 years ago now, it was a bit of a knacker but it never died, always ran sweetly and was too scruffy to steal so was ideal. If I remember roghtly, she used to put £2.00 of fuel in it a week, it was ace!
I think she still has it today in the garage with the original kidney splitter on the front under a sheet.

Alright, 'Vanilla', is that better? ;D ;D ;D

People forget that the 50 and 70 were very similar engines but the 90 was a totaly different beast, forget how many of the leading link plastic bushes i changed for mot passes
